Congratulations you have found our website.
Responders to Warmth, or R2W as we call it, is a short term programme operating up to March 31st 2012 , funded by the UK Department of Health and managed by Lincolnshire Community Foundation. The aim of the scheme is to support the emergency needs of households living in Lincolnshire* to keep warm and healthy in adverse winter weather conditions.
The first things we suggest you check out are yours or your family’s eligibility.
You must first meet the criteria of the scheme** Click on the second left link down, where you will find our eligibility criteria clearly stated.
We have also set an income and savings upper limit to ensure that only the most vulnerable members of the community access the resources available. Please check if you are eligible against these criteria as well.
Finally, if you are eligible on health, age or other grounds, and meet the income and savings criteria, please read the limitations of provision, such as housing tenure, age or technical restrictions to ensure you are clear on what we can and cannot offer.
If you meet all the scheme requirements, the next stage is to contact us on our local call charge rate 0845 telephone number (over) between the hours of 9.00 to 5.00 weekdays. When contacting us we will ask if we can retain and share with our named partners your contact details and requirements, excluding specific information on health, income and savings, to enable the delivery of the measure/s or service/s across our partner group.
We will ask that you provide us with written verification of all the eligibility requirements of the scheme, prior to being able to visit your home or offer an R2W service. To support R2W’s request for written verification of need, we will explain what we require of you and in turn send out a simple application form for your to completion. This, unless you already have an R2W leaflet in your possession.
We may also, at the point of the call, book an interim home visit appointment for up to 12 days in advance with you, and or ask one of our partners to contact you.
We look forward to receiving your application.
Note: We do not have a postal address on our application forms. Please contact our 0845 line who will advise you what to do with your application.
