R2W Scheme Service Provision:

·        Free- R2W visit including impartial tariff advice and free low energy lamps (one visit per household only). Note: To access heaters, blankets, wraps or slippers etc an R2W advice visit is required. 

·         Free loft space and cavity wall insulation (technical limitations may apply and a survey, provided by us, is required to access this service). We are unable to provide external or internal solid wall insulation, or insulation to boarded loft spaces of greater than 20% in area, or insulation to the ceilings or the internal wall or ceiling surfaces of dwellings.

 

·         Warmth Related Handy-Person Service, including draught-proofing, cylinder jacket replacement, minor repairs to doors and windows, loft hatch fitment, limited carpet re-fitting. Our service includes the removal of household objects from loft spaces and loose boarding to no more than 20% of the loft space area to facilitate the installation of loft insulation. Burst pipes can also be repaired where a household does not have insurance cover (owner occupiers only, limitations apply). Please note, it is not possible for R2W to replace items into the loft space once it has been insulated. 

·         Emergency food delivery charge payment (in adverse weather conditions, indicated by a Met Office Red Coding). To support food delivery in difficult weather conditions for a period of no longer than six weeks (One period only and for those with no financial savings and agreed at the time of an R2W advice visit only). 

·         Emergency repairs to heating and or hot/cold water systems or bursts*,excludes rented dwellings. Note: *Cold water bursts will only be supported where the occupant/s currently have no household insurance to cover the cost of the repair. Proof of property ownership, D.O.B and or health needs/income/savings and a signed R2W Application Form including professional validation (exceptions apply) of need is required to be ready at the time of the visit, and prior to the commencement of work.You will be advised prior to our engineer visiting your home what documentation is required to be completed and signed.

·         The provision of temporary heaters and hot water facilities (At the discretion of the scheme administrator.  Excludes housing association and local authority dwellings. Only provided at the time of an R2W advice visit).

·         The provision, in owner occupied dwellings, of improved fixed heating or hot water facilities (at the discretion of the scheme administrator).

·         Heating and hot water control or system up-grade.  To owner occupied dwellings only and at the discretion of the scheme administrator.

·         Free blankets, 'Snowflake' hot water bottles and electric over blankets.  One per household and only provided at the time of an R2W advice visit.

·         Rough Sleepers. Sleeping bags and warm clothing. To be supported by professional validation.

·         Emergency (in severe weather conditions, indicated by a Met Office Amber Code or higher) fuel supply for those with no financial savings.  Or at the discretion of the scheme administrator or the visiting R2W Green Dr. To include one allocation of the following fuels: Multi solid-fuel, or one butane cylinder, or gas and or electricity tokens charging (A financial limit applies, one payment only and 'need' to be validated by a professional) and only to be provided at the time of an R2W advice visit. 

·         Free fleece wraps and free slipper replacement or ice gripper over shoes for over 70 year olds to prevent trips, slips and falls. (One pair per person and at the time of an R2W advice visit).

·         Free salt and sand provision - (one bag per home and at the time of an R2W advice visit). 

·         Enabling GP practice vehicle lifts to GP surgery in adverse weather conditions.

·         Electronic cold monitor alarm provision (for those over 75 years of age and receiving a R2W visit only. One per household).
